We all know that Twitter is a valuable resource when it comes to connecting with others and driving traffic back to your site or blog. I am willing to bet that Twitter is in most peoples top 5 in regards to traffic sources. There is an easy way to increase that metric and gain more traffic through getting your tweets retweeted by others. The best part about using these services is that they are free and most also offer ways to help increase your twitter followers as well. This is what I call a Win-Win situation.
Retweet.it is the oldest and most established Retweeting site of its kind. I also think it is the easiest to use. You simply sign up, when you do you will earn 5 credits. You earn more credits by retweeting other people’s tweets. You then enter your own tweet and use your credits to entice them to retweet you.
Just Retweet is a relatively new site that I discovered by reading the Grow Map blog. This site works in the same way as Retweet.it, where you earn credits by retweeting and then use those credits so others will retweet you. There are a couple of cool features that help this service stand out. I like how you can specify how many followers the user must have if you want them to tweet your message. That way your credit is not wasted on a twitter account that has 18 followers. I also like how you can earn credits by following others and by browsing websites. In turn you can set credits and have people follow you and browse your site.

EasyRetweet.com is very similar to Just Retweet. They do have several additional features that are worth noting. They recently implemented a list building section where you can earn credits for subscribing to someone’s list. You can also offer credits to those that will sign up for your list. They also offer many ways to earn free credits beyond just a referral link. You earn credits by liking them on Facebook and signing up to their list and several other ways.
AdRetweet is basically a clone of Retweet.it but is works well and is easy to use.
I saved the best for last. I just started using Favo.rs and I am hooked. The concept is pretty strait forward, you sign in with Facebook or Twitter and you earn points for granting favors. There are 4 main categories ; promote a link, review a site, introductions, and general. Most of the favors that members are asking for are retweets, likes and Linkedin connections. Exchanging retweets is only a fraction of what this site is all about but I am betting that this site will eclipse all the others I just mentioned in regards to driving traffic back to your site.
Did I miss any? Which one is your favorite?

The early adopters using JustRetweet are largely established, social media savvy, influential bloggers who can send your site much more traffic regularly than the average Twitter user.

Thanks for adding EasyRetweet. I was not aware of this post until I checked my google analytics this morning when I saw some traffic from your blog.
I’m actually working on a couple of new features for easyretweet users. Just jump on the list or fanpage to be informed when these features get released.

Gail’s tip makes a lot of sense. Being able to do this all at once makes it a much more doable plan for those of us out on the road much of the day.
Twitter is the best source which commonly used by all to improve traffic for there sites hence you have given us best service to improve the source in easy manner
I use tweet adder for retweets, will that be the same as these?
i tyler – actually these sites are different for tweet adder. these are not twitter management tools, they are a platform where people retweet other people post and vice versa.
great list, not sure that any of my tweets are interesting enough to be re-tweeted!
I have studied so much about Twitter. This is the first time I’ve seen anything about these ReTweeting services. Thanks!
People what about google +1 social service is it not better then twitter? also for page rank
what about google social media service? “+1″ it may better then others?
Cool tools but the best way to get comments retweeted is to tweet something people are interested in first.
Jacko. Very true, and after that these will help expand your message to others that would never otherwise see it. Twitter is a big place and I will take all the help I can get…Maybe, Pete Cashmore doesn’t need the help, but I do.
Hi Dan,
As you know JustRetweet is my favorite and the one I encourage influential bloggers to support. There are several features of JustRetweet you haven’t mentioned yet, such as:
1) Instead of having your retweets go out all at once, click Post Later and JustRetweet will spread them out one every fifteen minutes. This means you can do many retweets when it is convenient for you and have them not flood your followers timelines. I consider this extremely important – especially if you are very active on JustRetweet.
2) You can now earn credits for referring others to JustRetweet.
3) You have always been able to earn credits by going to the Browse Blogs function and tweeting posts that catch your eye there.
4) You have always been able to earn credits for going to Browse Websites. The way that works is you have to spend 30 seconds checking out each site to earn the credits – and that can get you to really see what a site has to offer. Members can enter their blogs in both the blogs AND Web sites areas if they wish. This is a good way to find new blogs of interest to you – and members may want to consider offering more credits so that their sites are more likely to be seen by users who could become regular readers and commenters,
The early adopters using JustRetweet are largely established, social media savvy, influential bloggers who can send your site much more traffic regularly than the average Twitter user.
Twitter users who have few followers can often be far more influential with those few than power users who have tens of thousands of followers – so you may not want to set how many followers someone has too high. Bloggers like @Ileane have fewer followers than I do, for example, but her followers are more likely than mine to act on her recommendations.
Thank you for mentioning Fav.ors – sounds interesting. I’ll have to check that site out. Oh – and there are several posts on GrowMap with more tips on using JustRetweet. I put the most recent one in CommentLuv in this comment.
Thanks for the additional insight Gail. I must say that I am very impressed with JustRetweet so far. To your point, the users are many of the same folks I see around the blogosphere and interact with anyhow. I love the tweet later function. Good advice on the follower setting, I will have to lower mine, I think I was setting it add 1000 followers.
Hi Dan,
Thanks for including JustRetweet on your lists. Actually I have heard about favors and am going to check it out now
Thanks
Valentine
Absolutely. You have built a great site and I will continue to use it. Best of luck to you.
Great post indeed!! Twitter has become in a few years in one of the most important means for personal and corporate branding. I’m sure that all these apps will just make twitter more attractive for the heavy users.
Social media is the way to be found online. If you really make brand to your business and want to drive targeted traffic towards your website you need to make a proper social media promotion strategy. You have given really great list to choose for free re-tweeting.
