As bloggers we are always looking for more exposure for our posts and Twitter allows us to reach a much larger audience through connecting with our followers followers and their followers……you get the idea. I am talking about the phenomena referred to as retweets. I found a really cool and useful site today that will help you get more exposure for your tweets . The site is called Twitt.us and is part of the Xaxier Media portfolio of twitter application. The site is basically a platform where you can exchange tweets with other members. When you sign up and login, you will have the opportunity to send out other people’s tweets. The content is visible so you can pick and choose which tweets you feel comfortable sending out. The exchange is based on a credit system that is determined by the amount of followers you have. This seems fair, as the more followers you have, the more valuable that tweet becomes. I really like this feature and i think it makes a lot of sense. I have used another retweeting exchange service in the past and they treat every Twitter user the same, I think the Twitt.us system is better. When you have earned credits, you can write your tweet and save it, it then becomes visible for other members to send out on their timeline.
I just read on their blog that for new people that sign up they will give you 200 credits free if you use the code GWY4501. What i’ve learned from my experience on twitter is that you can get retweets if u retweet good stuff and earn a reputation among your followers. Things like bulk follow or retweet exchange don’t earn you much because usually people who are new retweet your content which might give u exposure 10-50 ppl. But if u get it retweeted by a person of decent reputation and say more than 5000 followers u may get exposure tp 100-500 ppl plus they might further retweet and you may get even more exposure.
So in my opinion you should start building your reputation instead of doing tweet exchanges.
