Last month I wrote a post about how to add video on Twitter. Earlier this week I came across an even cooler way to add some video and personality to your Twitter stream.
Have you seen Bubble Tweet yet?
The concept is very simple and it is even easier to use. Bubble Tweet is a free service where you can create and/or upload a video to their site. A link is created and you can then tweet the link to your followers. When you open the link a bubble pops up (have you ever seen pop up video on VH1) and your video starts running.
That is all there is to it. A very simple idea that I think can add a tremendous amount of value to your Twitter brand. We all knoe that Twitter is being taking over by robots and spam bots. By utilizing video you are able to personalize your account and really begin to build and strengthen relationships with your followers.
Another cool benefit is that your video will be displayed on their homepage and others just may “stumble upon” your video, like what they say and then start following you.
If you want to check it out in real time, take a look at my latest tweet and click on the link -;
What do you think? Here to stay? or just another fad?
I have to try it out and see. Cool it looks awesome. The video also in a shape of a bubble and bursts after some time. This looks awesome, would be gr8 if gets integrated into twitter. Whenever we click on a video, it appears as a bubble.

I have yet to Tweet any video, all though the other night I tried to use Uber Twitter to tweet a video from my Blackberry cell phone.
Turns out it will tweet video, as long as you already have it saved to your Blackberry, it won’t however let you Tweet a video that you are taking at that moment or take video with uber Twitter directly.

The popup bubble is only half of the cool things it can do. What I like about this is, when you post it to other social media sites it generates a preview of the video much like when you post a link into a facebook wall.

I think that this feature only allows people to add a link to the video uploaded. Twitter does not support video uploading itself.

this is great to know i will give it a try, hope it will work for me .thanks.

This is a cool idea.
However I´m starting to wonder about the viability of many of these Twitter Apps. Where are they meant to make their money from? For me it seems like the talents of a lot of people are going to waste when they could be better spent in other ways

It can be crazy to see just how useful twitter can be when it comes to sharing things with others. While I wouldn’t call Bubble Tweet special (you could simply link to a youtube video with tinyurl), it is nice to see sites and services supporting the twitter nation.
