Most of you know about Twitter by now and I am sure you know about retweeting as well.
I want to share with you another great Twitter tool I discovered today. This is a retweeting exchange website at Retweet.it . It is pure genius and is simple to use. What you do is go to the site and enter your Twitter name and password. By doing this you will receive three credits. With these credits you can purchase retweets from other users. The cost is 1 credit per retweet. You can gain additional credits from buying more or you can choose the option I took and retweet other people’s tweets and earn a half of credit.
In order to utilize this service you must already have 50 followers. I did not sign up with my @tycoonblogger account as I did not want to spam my followers that I gained organically. I instead signed up with the account that I established when I did the “15,000 followers in 30 days” experiment. Here is the link to that post:

If you are interested in checking out ReTweet.it, here is a link to their site.
I think its is better to get some organic follower than getting lots of spam follower.Easytweet is also a program where you have to pay for getting follower. For me for getting much follower, first follow them.

Retweet.it sounds like a cool tool but I’m always a little nervous about giving out my passwords for things like this. These types of sites always say that they don’t store the information, but ya never know.

When I heard them talking about Twitter on whatever morning news show it is on NBC while sitting in a doctor’s office for a few hours last week I kind of decided that it’s too over the top for me now…I think it’s a good service, but I also think some people are spending more time on Twitter than they are actually talking to the people in their lives face to face!

I have not started on the twitter thing yet. I guess I am going to have to at some point.

@Kai- I do agree with you it just seems like it is way to much to be just natural. I think you are right, they are paying out big time right now. I wouldn’t be surprised if this an effort for a big surge as they look to sell to the highest bidder.

Do you think Twitter is doing a viral marketing campaign or do you really think it is all word-of-mouth without a cent paid to advertise?

In some ways I am not sure whether all these celebrity is good for the Twitter users. It seems like a huge popular contest especially when Kutcher begin to compare himself with CNN.

I agree with you Aaron, I am hesitant to give out my password as well. What I have done is actually create several different Twitter accounts using different email addresses. I never use my Tycoon Blogger account for these types of service. This is for a couple of reasons, but primarily because I do not want to give up that password. Secondly, I am very selective about the tweets and retweets I send my followers on Tycoon Blogger, so I never want to do anything spammy. I suggest you set up another account and use that one. For retweet.it you only need 50 followers, you should be able to get that in one day. A little tip on how to get 50 followrs in one days is to set up an account with “follow” in the name and in the description say somethig like, “If you are looking for another follower, follow me ad I will follow you.” That worked for me I have 300 followers in 4 days from using this simple technique.
Chelle,
I have tried to limit myself as I do not want Twitter to eat away at my blogging time. There are quite a few Twitter addicts out there.
