I am featuring a guest post from another Philly blogger today. This blog tip is from Kai Lo who blogs about How To Increase Blog Traffic .
Are you struggling to make it to first page of Google with your blog? It is not as hard as you think. You can still be #1 on Google with certain keywords even if you have a pagerank of 0. We can use a workout blog for example. You want to provide free workout routine because people LOVE free stuff. What would you name the title of your new post? Would it be “Free Workout Routine”?
If you said yes, then you need to read this very carefully. You are competing with millions of websites that are providing free workout routines. Instead of naming your new post title “Free Workout Routine”, try “Ridiculous Workout Routine”. If your fitness blog is for men, then do “Ridiculous Workout Routine For Men”. Now why wouldn’t I use “Insane” instead? Because I did a search on Google, and there are a bunch of titles with the word “insane” already.
You might think, “well… no one is going to type ‘ridiculous workout routine’”, you think WRONG. One day, someone will find your blog by typing “omg I need a workout routine now”. That sort of niche is very competitive, and in order for you to succeed, you need to think outside of the box to defeat your competitors. Hope you enjoyed this simple tip to build traffic with blog title ideas.

Good tips Dan! sometimes we can’t just compete a popular keyword with others, if we write something that people have been written, we’ll just follow their footstep and never beat them. Sometimes we can try different way to name your title, nobody knows whether that’s a killer title, just try it out and see the result.
Well said Dan!

I agree! Sometimes I write articles so fast that I miss a lot of key points. In the case of the article above, you will use keywords ridiculous, workout, routine repeated in the article. However, keyword stuffing is bad and it is considered keyword stuffing when you use those three keywords in every sentence or every other word basically. Just splash the keywords throughout the article, and always keep your readers in mind. If your article seems annoying with so many repeated words, it probably is annoying.

Nice post, you need also to consider optimizing the post keywords. Like in the title post, the URL of the post and the density of it in the post itself.
Lee,
I can’t take credit for that post, it was actually a guest post from Kai for BlogAboutNothingAtAll.com. He has great tips to drive traffic to your blog
