This makes a lot of sense, because it takes a lot people to tweet a certain phrase to get into the trending topic.

I run a DJ blog, hence Beginner DJ, and generally every Monday I create a #MusicMonday post of all the good songs and albums I’ve found in the last week.

When I send it off to twitter, it goes into the trending topics, hash tagged and is really relevant.

Monday’s are good days

I think any time that you can jump on a new hot topic your bound to have success with the traffic return. Especially if you target the trending topic and keywords the right way. Another cool way is to look at the Yahoo Hoempage. On the top tight they will list the "Trending Now" topics.
