Every blogger I know wants to improve Alexa ranking, even the bloggers that say it doesn’t matter want to get a lower ranking. Last month I wrote a post titled How to improve your Alexa Ranking and I highlighted 5 easy things you can do right now that will make a major impact on your Alexa rating. I was reading one of my favorite blogs over the weekend and noticed that Extreme John wrote a great post about Alexa ranking as well. In fact, he mentioned a great tip that I never even considered. Next time you are on Alexa.com and look up your site you will notice that you can actually leave a comment and add a rating. Apparently, if you receive a lot of comments and 5 star ratings this will help increase your Alexa rankings.
Here is where we can work together and help each other. I am sure you all know the concept of “scratch my back” and I came up with a simple idea of exchanging comments and ratings. So go ahead and search tycoonblogger.com on Alexa and leave me a 5 star rating and a comment. If you do that just let me know by commenting under this post and I will return the favor.

Will it really improve your ranking. I don’t know. AS far as I know Alexa ranking is primarily on traffic.
Perhaps what we should do is go to everyone else’s blog and add a rating to their Alexa profile as well That will make it interesting.
What do you think? It might take some effort, but then all good things take effort.

There’s actually a very easy way to artificially inflate your Alexa rank. Since it is based on the number of Alexa users visiting your blog you can install the Alexa tool bar on several PCs and make sure you visit your site daily a couple of times from these computers. If, say, you have one at home, one at the office, and one laptop for travel, that makes three. By my records that is sufficient to hover around the magic top 100K, and occasionally, dip into it.

I like the way Alexa ranking goes. It is the people who judge according to the content and there’s this rating to be given. I don’t know if this is better than the others in knowing the rank of your site but according to the census of respondents, it yields a pretty good result.

Alexa ranking is different. As people would be the judge as to how good or bad your site is. I think this ranking is much better than the others because it is a through reviews you would know your status.

Good thing there’s friends who can help. Numbers are important most especially when it signifies ranking. Somehow, it gives you the idea how good or bad your site is as well as the content.

Alexa ranking is a great sign for a good blog or website so that it is very good to get it with your help. I have take a look on your post and truly speaking it was really very knowledgeable. Anyways keep it up and keep sharing.
ALexa say that your blog alexa rank will increase how many alexa toolbar installed people visit your blog. I think PR does not matter on alexa rank.

Well numbers do matter and page ranking as well. Still, we’re still on the venture on increasing traffic. I suppose it’s a win-win situation for all of us.

Lot of people don’t give importance to Alexa ranking. They only thought about the google ranking.
I’m trying to increase my Alexa rank. It’s takes a bit of time but will rise eventually.
