Adgitize Network for bloggers

My last post was about Entrecard and some of the changes that are to coming in the next couple of weeks. BTW, I made over 15,000 EC credits today in the marketplace (still don’t know what that will translate into in real $.) As I was reading a blog from the EC Network, I noticed they were also running ads from the Adgitize Network. I decided to check it out. Adgitize is very similar to Entrecard in the sense that they offer an advertising platform for bloggers as well as a social community aspect and their own point system. From what I can gather, it seems like they are what EntreCard is moving towards. They sell third party ads on widgets that are placed on member blogs. Bloggers then earn points based upon ad impressions and click throughs. You can then exchange those credits for cash. I decided to give it a shot and I placed three 125 x 125 ads in my footer. I did not see anything that said that ads had to run above the fold. I also placed an affiliate banner in my footer as well. Their affiliate program pays out at $5 for a new advertiser you bring in and 1$ a month as long as the advertiser continues to run ads. As this blog is still new and I am in the heavy promotion stage, I figured I had nothing to lose in trying it out. I will be providing a detailed report in about a month of my experience, so be sure to check back or better yet subscribe to my feed. :-)

    You should give CMF Ads a try as well. Low cost, no-nonsense advertising with great forums. Just go to cmfads.com and you can check it out. There’s no reason why you can’t run ads from multiple networks. Give us a shout if you need any tips for getting the most out of CMF Ads. :)

    i don’t think Entre Card credits are worth much. Entre Card seemed like an amazing concept when it launched but the buzz faded away.

    Sure, mostly you get much from it when you choose to advertise there for one month (14$). At the end of the month you should have the spent money in your pocket again. At the moment i get between 87 and 113 new visitors on http://www.babyandkidsworld.blogspot.com from Adgitize members. My followers increased and i got new comments from this traffic!

    I have registered in adgitize, but I can not monetize my blog by adgitize, After all I can not monetize my blog with no any ad network.

    I’d say you should probably choose from one of the more popular ones though, because if there’s not a lot of people you know on the site, then there’s not really much networking going on.
