Top 10 Bloggers – The new list

I have nothing against ProBlogger , John Chow or ShoeMoney.  Alright, if I am being honest I think ProBlogger is solid but I can not stand John Chow and ShoeMoney.I am sick of seeing their names on every single top blogger list. I do check them out from time to time, but I prefer to read other blogs more. I decided to write my own personal Top Ten blogger list. These are the bloggers I like and who I feel are the rising stars in the blogosphere.

    This is an awesome list. I didn’t know a lot of them, but I have to go and check them out now. It’s always to great to know about new buddies in the blogging world and learn some tips, news and new ideas from them. Sharing is always good, and thanks for giving out this cool information. By the way, you have some great tips on your blog.

    I really like bloggingtips.com. I also use pingable as well (and yours as well of course!). I often find that once blogs become established they go downhill as they start promoting worthless schemes to make money – keep it real!

    Nice list of the top bloggers. I do agree with your comment about John Chow and some of the others — we seem them everywhere, and it gets kind of annoying. Good to see a bit of a change.

    Nice looking list bro, I agree I prefer a different style blog than the “usual” favorites and I know you know what I mean.

    Hey bro on a side note I have tried commenting over the last couple of days, been getting errors or the page would just lock. Maybe a plugin issue? Just didn’t want you to think I forgot about you! haha.

    bloggingtips.com is down atm, either that or it’s a bugged url.

    Only thing I have to say about this is, don’t copy them, they’re already doing it so well that you’d have a much better shot at writing about something else/go with a different design etc, there is a reason why not everyone makes millions using “the same methods” as the “gurus” even if it is true.

    The one blog I read every day is bookofjoe at http://www.bookofjoe.com He recently started placing his posts on twitter. I find it very interesting that his blog is so popular and yet his twitter account has very few followers. Does this say something about the userbase on twitter? Or does it instead say something about the effectiveness of using twitter ONLY for updates on blog posts?

    I just checked out that blog, pretty cool and I loved the video of Susan Boyle. I think the major reason that he has so few Twitter followers is that he is not advertising his Twitter account anywhere on his blog. If he is, I could not find it. A major key to gaining followers is to have your Twitter icon prominently displayes on your blog. My suggestion is to have it right below your RSS feed icon. That is where I have mine, and I also usually end my posts by saying, “follow me on twitter,” and then linking to my Twitter page. Twitter is just like blogging, you have to promote! promote! promote!
