If you thought installing a wordpress blog was easy before – wait until you see this

Installing a wordpress blog is simple, right?  Well, it all depends on who you ask.  If you are experienced and have done it a couple of times, then yes.  Very Easy.  I sometimes forget that not all readers of this blog are experienced and some subscribe to read blogging tips for beginners.  This post is for those of you that have not yet started their blogs because they do not know how or where to start.

There is a new app coming out called BlogMe, it is another creation from the folks that brought us MarketMeTweet, which they changed to MarketMeSuite.

With this new app, here is how easy it is…Check out these 3 steps.

1. Pick a premium theme

2.Enter your domain name

3.Enter your name server

That’s all there is to it.  They will take care of everything on the back end.  I forgot to mention that the themes are truly premium, with choices from Studio Press and Woo Themes.

I am sure you are wondering what the cost is.  You can try this for $3.99 a month and it comes with free blog hosting for a year.  After that blog hosting is only $45, which is about half the price I am currently paying.

If you are ready to buy, I have mixed news.  This is not out yet, it is only available for MarketMeSuite customers.  On the bright side, you can always sign up for MarketMeSuite through my link and take advantage of that awesome service and get going with BlogMe as well. :-)

To you experienced bloggers who have read this far, what do you think?  Is this a valuable tool or something that is not really needed?

It's definately easy to install WordPress now. I have been using it for a short time and have been surprised at how quickly I have been able to develop my website.

  2. I didn't know about such an app. I think with this way, it's probably just as easily installing WordPress as with godaddy's automatic installation. The only difference here is that you need to pay your hosting of course in order to do this. WIth MarketmeSuite, you get it for free and it's probably an excellent way to brand yourself this way.

This is absolutely good for newbies who don't know anything about anything and won't cause any frustration.

I think installing WordPress is simple to install using Fantastico or other installation scripts, but why is WordPress so bloody slow loading. I've tried it with practically no plugins installed and others loaded up. I've used the Thesis theme and others that proclaim to be very fast. I tried different webhosts as well, and it's slooooow.

  4. This is a good idea for people with no technical background, but the cost of entry is rather high. The money could probably be better spent on creating interesting content or learning SEO or blog promotion. WordPress is rightly popular for it's famous 5-minute install, and even without benefits offered by this service, installing a WordPress blog isn't very difficult at all. If you're serious about blogging, it's probably better to work with the blogging platform a bit, with a healthy sense of curiosity.

Wow, this is absolutely amazing. I thought installing WordPress couldn't be easier but many people still ask me to help install blogs. I will recommend this tool to them.
    Thanks very much for sharing.

  6. Everyone has to start some place and suffer some pain. However it is worth it in the long run. There is so much help out there on the internet, that it is impossible to stay confused for too long. Why waste money if you don't have too!

This would have been a very welcome service/product to me when I first started but not now. I seriously *dislike* paying monthly fees!

The problems I can see for newbies who do go this route, is that they may be severely limiting themselves. There's no better teacher than "have-to". Sure, it hurts, its frustrating, its time consuming and as you learn, your skills keep getting better and better at it until it all 'just happens' for you and you go faster and faster…

And your options increase because you have the confidence and skills to do more and more….

Good luck to the products producers….I wish them well. They believe they have found their niche and if that is so, they will see more and more to add into the service :-)

  8. Well it can be surprising but there is people who really pay for wordpress installation.
maybe they are just too lazy to spend ten minutes in order to learn it

  9. A lot of hosts are offering a simple installation option now. As a newbie this came in handy. Its now so easy to install that I doubt anybody will pay for a installation service.

I have been offering a paid install service for a couple of months now and the one thing I have learnt is that most new bloggers don't want to pay to have their blog set up.

Good luck to the people who created this though, if they can get people to pay to use it.

Installing wordpress has gotten even easier everyone should be able to install it now, many big hosting companies like godaddy have quick install you just tab a button input some very simple data and ta-da! you have your very once wordpress blog. Still this new BlogMe seems pretty cool I wonder how the themes will be, not big fan of Woo themes myself.

I thinks its a valuable tool for newcomers to enter the blogging world quickly and easily. I wonder if discounts are available for users who would like to mass-create multiple blogs at once.
