I found another fun site today.  Last week I shared a tool that allows you to find out what is your blog’s personality.  Today I wanted to share with you a site that will do a quick analysis of many factors that effect your SEO.  The site will run a quick analysis of your content, on-site seo, off-site seo,  and usability.

The tool is called Woo Rank

There are a couple of things the tool picked out that I can make some quick improvements on.  For example, half of my images are missing their alt attributes.  I could also benefit from some .gov and some .edu backlinks (If you know where I can get some, let me know :-) )

Overall, I was pretty pleased with my score.  Tycoon Blogger was rated 56.6.

    Your score of 56.6 is quite better, than what I have on my blog 45.7, the tool is nice, it pont out where yo need to do more work on your blog.

    Hey, what a great site. Ive just been over and checked out Woo Rank and used it on one of my better blogs (I got a rank of 56.1). The tool is great – so easy to use! Not really sure what my number means though…

    Nice tool, thanks. I can see a few obvious ways they could improve the tool, which I guess they will leave for the paid version. But as it stands now it does a nice job of showing you some places to check out.

    i got a grade of 44.2. not bad considering that it’s just 3 months old. i’ll use the result to implement further changes that will help me improve my blog.

    good find. Just wanted to point out that this is a great tool for any type of website and not just blogs. One great option is at the bottom that it compares your site to similar sites so you can see how you rank amongst your competition. Thanks for the post

    Awesone tool. I just checked my woo ranking and it is 56.4. guess that’s OK. I have also some images that I forgot to include the alt attribute and I have a problem with not having “Dublin Core” Not sure what that is but I will try to get it fixed. Thanks, I really like simple tools:)

    I got a 37.3. I don’t think that’s too bad for a newish blog. I love how it points out things to improve on and takes you right to that site to do it!

    And Dick you need to go to edit HTML for your images and within the code at the end enter at=”(Description of image)” title”(Same description)”

    That way google will see those images and another thing will be indexed. Or something like that. I’ve been sloppy with doing this, so I’m gonna take some time today and do the ones I haven’t done yet.

    I got a 34.4, now you have spoiled my evening. I am determined to take it past 50. I am just curious about their ability to give SEO score without even asking me for my ‘targeted keyword’. Are they simply using title for that?

    Only 55 for me :( , but that is pretty decent. I love how they tell you what they base it on so you can see where you fall short.
