Does your personality come through when you blog?
Most successful bloggers understand the importance of adding their personality to their blog. Have you ever wondered what your blog says about you and your personality? If so, there is a very cool site that I discovered that will tell you what your blogs personality is.
The site analyzes your content and then computes your personality using the Myers- Briggs Type Indicator . Since this is not a psychology blog, you can click the link to learn more about that versus me telling you.
Here is what it said about Tycoon Blogger :
[stextbox id="info"]The organizing and efficient type. They are especially attuned to setting goals and managing available resources to get the job done. Once they have made up their mind on something, it can be quite difficult to convince otherwise. They listen to hard facts and can have a hard time accepting new or innovative ways of doing things.
The Guardians are often happy working in highly structured work environments where everyone knows the rules of the job. They respect authority and are loyal team players.[/stextbox]
This is actually surprisingly accurate…except the respect authority crap!
The site is called Typealyzer , check it out and let me know in the comments what your blog’s personality is.
Nice tools, I will like to know what my blogs says about you and your personality. Thanks for sharing this tools.

Wow, this is a great tool. It certainly is important to know how my blogs and myself are being perceived. Thanks.
I just started mine a few days ago and got this:
ESFP – The Performers
The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead – they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.
The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation – qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.
The cartoon looked like a possibly loose woman at a bar :/

ESTP – The Doers
[ESTP]
The active and playful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.
The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

Great place to send bloggers for our personality. Mine was the mechanic type. So true since I hold a law and security degree, spent time in the Canadian Armed Forces and even took part in a brain mold seminar lol.
Now if only I could find a place for the kids to take their own personality quiz
I look forward to your next post. Thanks to Joella (aka Blog Angel) for posting this on her blog and directing me here.

Interesting, I should give it a try
I want to know if I’m a different person when I’m blogging or not? lol!

Nice The responsible and hardworking type. They are especially attuned to the details of life and are careful about getting the facts right. Conservative by nature they are often reluctant to take any risks whatsoever.
Interesting stuff… great find, i will check it out and see what it will say about my blog.
i just checked it out. it says i’m the mechanic: the independent and problem-solving type.
i think i need to post this in my blog as well.
thanks for sharing.

Dan, what a terrific find. Lots of fun, I went to Typealyzer and took the test. I was surprised at how accurate it was. So I wrote a post about it and posted my results too.
Thanks for the idea. I mentioned Tycoon Blogger in the post and linked back to you for fairness sake. After all you’re the one who pointed out the site in the first place. WTG

I just did mine for my blog and was surprised at the results.
ISTJ – The Duty Fulfillers:
The responsible and hardworking type. They are especially attuned to the details of life and are careful about getting the facts right. Conservative by nature they are often reluctant to take any risks whatsoever.
The Duty Fulfillers are happy to be let alone and to be able to work int heir own pace. They know what they have to do and how to do it.
Very cool indeed.
This is awesome. I think my official MB test had similar results. I’m not sure I want my writing to reflect my fear of confrontation. Here’s what Typealyzer had to say.

Ok, I wrote a post saying that I wouldn’t comment on blogs for a whole month yesterday, and I am breaking that to comment here.
I went to the site you mentioned to see what it said about my site:
“The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment and are highly skilled at seeing and fixing what needs to be fixed. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.”
Hell, I don’t even know what most of that means, but I like the sound of it. My goals for my site are to help others and to do things differently somehow.
Anyway, I commented, even though I wasn’t planning on it….

Tycoon,
You have the most interesting stuff….here’s what it said about my blog. When I took the Myer-Briggs years ago, it said I was ESTJ!
ISTP – The Mechanics
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment and are highly skilled at seeing and fixing what needs to be fixed. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.
The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.
