This week I am doing something a little different with the blogger spotlight series.  I am interviewing Blogging Boy, he is one of the webs youngest blogger at 10 years old.  Although not a famous blogger (yet), he is a real cool kid!!  (Hint: he is my son)

This is also the first video post of all time here on Tycoon Blogger…Enjoy!

Fun interview. Are you also learning him to make money and what are your opinion of learning kids to do it?

    @Stefan,
I do keep make him aware of ways to make money blogging. I view it as a 3 step process. First step is to teach him the basics, which he has down now. Next step is what we are doing now is blog promotion. This is going slowly but is still moving forward. Monetization will be the last step and I think he is a couple of years away from that, but by the time he is a teenager he should be all set to start making money online.

Holy crap that caught me by surprise, thank you for the shout out I appreciate it!

It’s pretty wild that your already blogging at the age of eight, just means you get to make money blogging 15 years earlier than most.

I wish you the best of luck and your interview was excellent!

Lovely..First I thought ‘Who is he?” but then I read he is your son. I think you should help him out in becoming a slightly known and famous blogger because he is so young and I haven’t seen anybody blogging from that age.

That was awesome Dan… he totally reminds me of my 9 year old boy… but it is my 6 year old that wants his own blog. He wants to have his own video blog, but we will see.

Good snags on BloggingBoy.com and BloggingGirl.com too.

I wish you and your kids much success! I have always heard that “the family that blogs together… stays together” ;)

Great video, perhaps he can become the next internet millionaire! He’ll sure know his stuff by the time he’s out of school and I believe that ethically the internet can be a great way to make an honest living.

I didn’t think children were allowed to blog? Don’t they have to be 16 or 18 or something like that when they sign up for a blog?

Stopped in to say thanks for placing my ad, but it’s not here. According to my dashboard it’s suppose to be. Wonder why?

That was a really cool video. It made me think about how I hope to teach my own son how to blog and do web stuff in the future. He is only 4, but I’ve gotten him to type his name :) .

Here is an interesting thought. I wonder if websites and blogs can be the new family business. Its not something too difficult to teach and it is profitable. I can see in 10 years or so, a new crop of bloggers who are second generation.

Man, you allow him on Extreme John? lol

I must admit that this is the first time I ever clicked on a link before reading the post. I was really curious as to who this whiz kid is. Imagine my surprise when I found out he’s yours.

Reckon I’ll just go back and leave him a comment.

BloggingBoy, you are great! It is inspirational to see a young guy like yourself so knowledgeable about blogging and the internet. I am sure TycoonBlogger had a little to do with that and has done a great job teaching you the ropes. I really enjoyed your video and thought it was fun to watch. Good luck in your blogging!
