It is Saturday and time for another installment of “Blogger Spotlight.” This is a weekly series where I interview a famous or up and coming blogger and ask some questions to learn more about them and their blog. This week I interviewed Karen from Blazing Minds. If you have not been to her blog, I highly recommend it, it is full of blogging advice as well as personal posts and other entertaining topics.

Q. Please tell us who you are, where you are from and a little bit about your blog.
A. My name is Karen I’m from North Wales in the UK and my blog is a mixed bag of posts, it’s my escape to post about anything I want

Q. How long have you been blogging?
A. I’ve been blogging on my Blazing Minds blog since 2008 and love every minute of it..
Q. What got you interested in blogging?
A. I think it was just the fact that everyone seemed to be doing it at the time and I thought it would be a chance to get my thoughts out into the world, I never realised how it could be so addictive though.
Q. What are your top three sources of traffic to your blog?
A. EntreCard has been a top slot for incoming traffic for a while now, but lately it has been caught up by links on other blogs and wonder of Twitter.
Q. What is your best money maker for your blog?
A. It used to be Google Asense, but lately that has taken a big decline, which I think can be attributed to the use of “ad blockers” that browsers seem to be using a lot of these days, though it does still bring in a nice sum, but CPC links with SocialSpark and sponsored posts seem to bring in a bit more these days.
Q. What else do you online besides blogging?
A. I have been producing music under the name Remergence since the late 90′s and that is one of my passions, so when I’m not blogging, I’m usually working on material for the next “smash hit” album I’m also a bit of a Twitter addict so I love to post there as well, ok, I just love the internet LOL

A. I spend a lot of time with Twitter these days, I made some great friends on there since joining sometime back and utilise it with my blog, for anyone wanting to find me on Twitter my Twitter is @RemBeatZ..
