    @Dan: 100 posts on the blog, quite an achievement. All the best for the new contest.

    I like these kind of recaps as I find gems that I had missed earlier. Are you using the pay per post sites at all? I am told they can get you a big google slap if they find out about these posts.

    I don’t know why you include sitepoint in dofollow forums. Signature links aren’t even seen by people who are not logged in (and that will include Googlebot).

    Congratulations on your 100th post. As for the tips you’ve given, I completely agree on all. I’d say one of the most important is the title of your posts. Even though it is not good to judge a book by its cover, most people still do. Consider the title of your post as the cover of the book.
