I found lots of blog using these plugin recently. I think this is great because these plugin helps both visitor and blog owner. Visitors get backlink and blog owner get traffic.

You will just have to use the comment box and mailbox only at the specific times for when they are working properly. Make sure to delete messages during that time, so that you can actually use the mailbox.
